new light poll
1 elzetta 2x cr123
2 lenslight 2x cr123
3 fenix cr123 model, 1 or 2 cell
4 another fenix 2x aa model
5 streamlight 2x cr123 model
6 olight big lumen model of some sort
7 fenix big lumen model of some sort
8 streamlight stinger led model
I need 1 more quality light of some sort or another. My only real requirement is its bright. Basically anything listed is bright to a pretty high degree. some higher than others. also wide ($50-$200) price range. Probably a moderate quality range also. Im going to use it as a bedside and or trunk light that will be used lightly (thus the many 123 versions when i usually buy aa). It will be worst case in a trunk all winter, so needs to have option of lithiun battery, which all do. So these would all more or less fit my needs...what would yall buy? Cheapest? Highest quality? Certain brand? Im interested in input.

Re: new light poll
Elzetta hands down. They are nearly indestructible. I think I would get the larger 3 battery version for your application though.
On top of that you are buying made in the USA 100% and also buying local in Kentucky.

I swear by my ten year old Streamlight for a bedside flashlight. Upgraded with an LED head, it can't be beat. Rechargeable and long lasting(with the LED), plus almost indestructable. Lifetime warranty also. I bought my dad one years ago as well, and use mine at work daily. It has smacked plenty of concrete, doors, heads, etc and still works great!

Re: new light poll
I have a stinger led I use at work. It's factory led, came with 2 batteries and a charger with the car adapter. I use this light just about all day every day and I charge it up about once a week or when I remember too. If it interests you the model I have has the strobe function as well which is pretty damn potent. I took it home and played with it when I bought it.
This my opinion based on my light. I don't have any experience with any of the other lights listed above.

Dude Dude Dude. ... Look at the Surefire Fury. No reason to not buy this 500 SF lumens. 2 modes. Not really a weapon light but still surefire quality and customer service. And I think they are still $108. Plus its 500L from 6p size light. 2x123

Re: new light poll
That or a 5.11 light for life is a great car light. But prob overkill for your needs.

Re: new light poll
Lmao well the 5.11 is 200+ if I remember and charges 100% in like 1 min or something. Has 3 programable modes. Tailcap and body switch. Go in bluegrass uniforms on 2nd and kentucky and see if they still have a display model out.

Yep that's it. I plan on getting one asap. This is ultimate non tactical light imo.

Re: new light poll
How many batteries in that tk35. If you have time read the reviews on candlepowerforum on the fury. Its probably well over 500 lumen but surefire will garuntee 500. One guys was tested at 600+ if I remember correctly. But fenix is nice for sure. And a car light really don't need to be small. For the same price that's a hard choice.
