I have one and they work great, especially for days that you are shooting a lot of ammo. I would also recommend the version for AR mags.

The only centerfire mag loader I have ever found to be truly useful and the only one that loads faster than my thumbs! I keep a couple around, in case I can't find one, sometimes.

I've been thinking about picking one if these up. The last round or two in my CZ mags are a bitch. 10-15 mags in my thumbs are starting to feel it. That really my only mags that suck to load many of. 22/45 mags after quite a few hundred rounds kinda suck too.

I've seen these on the shelves of gun stores but I've never bought one. Looks like I'll have to give it a shot.

I have an Up-lula for my semi-auto pistols, and like it. If I have it handy, I use it. If not, I won't waste time looking for it, thumbs will do fine, but I will say thumbs are slower and ya gotta be careful and have the technique down LOL.

As for rifle mags, I have the up-lula for the M1A and BOY does it make loading that thing a BUNCH easier. Highly recommended for rifle applications. Guess the springs on rifle mags are just that much stronger than pistol mags.

My FNX9 mags hold 17 rounds. After about 12 or so, things start getting tough.

My CZ is a thousand times worse than my M1A. I don't mind loading M1A mags all day, if someone else is paying for the ammo of coarse...haha

I have one but don't use it since I got the Glock. The polymer covered mag doesn't bother my thumbs and the follower springs aren't as tight as the other mags I've owned.

The device works flawlessly though.
