Kydex help needed
I have a mid-rise holster from Spartan Village for a G17. I want to reform it somewhat to fit my VP9. The VP fits in it fairly well but there is little retention. I want to heat it up mold it better. Any tips / tricks from your experienced kydex people? I do have a heat gun.
TIA

Going to be tricky without a press to make sure everything stays in form.
Doesn't take much heat to get a big area to start loosening up.

Honestly a lighter held right at the trigger guard and pinch it in with your fingers. You may get just a bit of sheen due to the open flame , but its about the only option I know of.

Use a heat gun, although honestly it may not add retention, unless you have a press. Going from a g17 to a vp9 is a drastic change
