MK series pistols mag mod

Post by Niceguy » Tue Jan 22, 2019 5:26 pm

If you have any MK series Ruger, you NEED to do this to them! After playing with a few new MKIV mags side by side with the ones I did this to (that I just sold), there is a HUGE difference in the feel and overall smoothness of them. They hardly even feel like the same kind of mags they feel so different...

I never realized how shitty they feel when they're new. It's night and day difference when you feel them side by side. You can hear and feel the difference. I have 4 new mags I need to do it to. I may do them this weekend. If you do it and need some liquid cold blueing, let me know. It would take me 50 years to use the bottle I got when I did the ones I sold. You only use a drop or two per mag.
