This was a fun pistol right out of the box but it had issues. That silly magazine disconnect was the primary culprit. Mags would be hard to seat and didn't want to come out. The trigger was a bit stiff too. I've put hundreds of rounds through it but my parts came in yesterday so I added a Tandem Kross hammer bushing that eliminates the mag disconnect hardware. A VQ sear brought the trigger pull and creep way down. The extended magazine bumpers are nice enough in that they add capacity for an 11th round but I especially like the spring assist. Now the mags are easy to deal with and the trigger is really nice.

Taking the internals out this pistol is not hard at all with a bit of online digging around. Anyone with even modest mechanical skills should be able to do it easily enough.

I've been wanting to pick up some of those mag bumpers. Mags don't always want to seat when the bolts closed and I'm pretty aggressive with mag changes. They probably wouldn't seat at all if your gentle. That extra sticking out passed the grip would probably make them perfect. No issues at all with the bolt open. My 22/45 is hands down my most shot gun I own...

Have you done the hammer bushing yet? That makes the most difference with the mags engaging and ejecting.

I really like mine a lot too. Even at the inflated 22lr ammo prices it's much cheaper than shooting the 45. The controls are pretty much in the same place while still being it's own pistol.

Yeah, I'm trying to not go overboard with this one like I often do LOL.

I had 2 22/45's and swapped parts into one basically stock and one badass... The stock 5.5" target barrel like yours was a little more accurate, but the Paclite has a lot of other plus's. Number one is threads for my suppressor...

I have one that's only had a hundred rounds through it. Mine is accurate but I need to do some of that trigger work you mentioned.

Power Custom is a good source for reasonably priced parts that work. They sell 10/22 parts, too! Just as good as Volquartsen or Kidd, and way cheaper!
