Colt 1911-22 sights?

I have acquired another Colt 1911-22. I got rid of my first one because I hated the sights and traded because something more exciting was offered and believe it or not, after a year I still have that pistol! haha The factory sights on the colt .22 to me is like lining up a needle between NFL goal post. I HATE how wide the rear sight is in relation to the front blade... I want to fix this on this one and keep it because I love everything else about it. Does anyone have opinions on a good target style sight that will work on this gun without any mods? Any other great mods I'm open to hear about also. Triggers or whatever.
