22 Glock Kits

Post by Roman » Sat Nov 30, 2013 2:10 pm

Not new to guns but newish to rimfires.

I have a glock 17. I don't always want to shoot 9mm. Are the advantage arms kits or tactical solutions kits better? Reliability ok? Last round hold open?

Thanks.

The AA kits are less money and far more reliable after they're broken in properly. I have 7 of them for that reason.

Because I have have seven different Glocks that require it. Some came with the Glocks when I bought them, & a couple are dedicated .22 Glocks.

I agree with the AA recommendation (even though I only have one ;) ).

My intent was to swap out the upper with one of my Glock 17s, but I ended up buying a dedicated frame for it. It's tons of fun, allows cheap practice, and it's a great tool to introduce new shooters to modern semi-autos.

I have one dedicated G19 framed .22, & 1 G21 frame that was dedicated until I built the LW G20.
