CZ 455: What do you think?

Post by Whootsinator » Wed Sep 16, 2015 11:29 pm

What does KAC think about the CZ 455? A CZ 455 in a higher end "tactical" style stock with good glass has been making some appearances on my mental "that would be cool" gun list.

If you've shot it, what were your impressions? If you own one, what has been your experience? What have you changed, what was harder to change than you liked, or what do you wish you could change? How available/necessary are high quality accessories (like McMillan quality stocks, Geissele quality triggers, etc.)? Given the end goal of a high quality, high performance long range trainer, is the CZ 455 the best starting point?

Great rifle, worth the price. If I could, I would replace the one I foolishly sold so many years ago.

Do it! You can work out the details later.

Is it the best? No, but the price tag is not like an Annie either.
