Marlin 60
So I just got a Marlin 60 and I'm wanting to put my scope on it. The ring mounts (I think that's what they are called) are too wide for the mount on the rifle. Is there a local place that sells a rail to attach to the rifle so I can use my mounts? If that didn't come out right...mount is too wide to fit on rifle.lol

Re: Marlin 60
I think the model 60 takes a 3/8" dove tail mount. I'm not sure if anybody makes a rail to adapt to a weaver base or not. Several respectable manufacturers make a quality dove tail mount for the narrow base. I've used millet and square B in the past.

Re: Marlin 60
Raises sight mount about a half inch. Used this on my 60 with a red dot.Livewire wrote:I'll have to check into that one. How high does it raise the mount?nemo wrote:UTG make an adapter to picatinny rail for $10.
Oh, how so high they fly........ only further to fall.
