CZ 455

Post by Geno » Fri Mar 23, 2012 7:25 pm

I may have a new "most accurate 22lr". I have heard good things about CZ rifles, this is the first I've shot. Fifty yard groups of the size of a dime! I was using federal automatch ammo to sight it in. 2-7x Leupold on cheap rings. I haven't ordered the CZ rings yet. Just couldn't wait. It came with a 22wmr barrel as well. This should keep me interested for a while. Before I get flamed, I'll post pictures later. I've got a little more daylight going shooting a bit more. Geno

CZs are very good rifles from the factory. My 452 Varmit in 17HM2 is far and away my best shooting, most accurate factory rifle
Make your attacker advance through a wall of bullets . . . You may get killed with your own gun, but he'll have to beat you to death with it, cause it'll be empty.

Follow up. I switched to the 22wmr barrel about 2 weeks ago. 1 1/4" groups at 100 yards. The magnum rimfire isn't known for accuracy, but this one does well with CCI 22wmr loads. Really pleased with this switch barrel rimfire system.
