KSG Price Check
I don't know much about these but I'm looking to purchase one for a range toy. I found one in FDE with a matching magpul vertical grip and first gen magpul sights. I'm not sure of round count but it's used. Any idea what it's worth? Thanks!

Gen 2s are good to go
NIB they sell for $750 or so without sights
There are criminals among us who are both homicidal and incorrigible. Their parents took a shot at civilizing them and failed. Their school teachers took a shot at them and failed. The odds are overwhelming that government welfare programs and penal institutions took a shot at them and failed. If it ever becomes your turn to take a shot at them, don’t fail.

Don't have time to google pictures and info right now but from off the top of my head differences between gen 1 & 21fastmach1 wrote:I have no idea what gen it is... They want $750 for it used with those sights. Hmmm
Forearm is a different shape
Tube selector is a different design
Rack release was moved
various internal changes

Re: KSG Price Check
Yeah I'm reading the differences now. Not sure I want to pay top dollar for a used one. I've not seen a new one for $750 though. ESP in FDE.WLJ wrote:Don't have time to google pictures and info right now but from off the top of my head differences between gen 1 & 21fastmach1 wrote:I have no idea what gen it is... Re: KSG Price Check
River city firearms has a black one in stock. I paid 899 for the titanium version. The black is usually 100 less.

Do you think it's worth the money?

14+1 of 12 gauge on tap in a 26" platform. A 870 can't touch it. Yes it's worth it.1fastmach1 wrote:Toecutter1978 wrote:River city firearms has a black one in stock. I paid 899 for the titanium version. The black is usually 100 less.

I like shooting gauge more than rifle rounds. If you would want to shoot one to see, I'm always game to play when I have the time.

Re: KSG Price Check
Honestly is love to shoot one before I drop the coin on one. Is hate to wait on and not buy this one though. It's setup pretty much how I want it.Toecutter1978 wrote:I like shooting gauge more than rifle rounds. If you would want to shoot one to see, I'm always game to play when I have the time.
Re: KSG Price Check
I had one, it hurt a bit to shoot full two mags of 00 with for me, but I am getting older and wimpier.
I didn't like the way you had to manipulate the magazine switch over from one tube to the other and it was not as easy to load as I thought. THe plastic was a bit rough edged I thought (internally), cut my hand on some of the burrs but those can be take care of I am sure. I paid 799 for mine but traded it off later because I really didn't like it after all. Your mileage may vary.
I have seen them several times for 750 at shops and shows. If you are patient you can find one for that or the 799. I believe dealer cost on them is 680 to 700 for the black one if I remember right. Keltec does charge more for colored versions of some of its guns (like the PMR 30 is 30 dollars more for a color other than black).
