Scatter gun
So I'm looking for a good auto load shottie. Thinking about that Mossberg JM Pro series tactical class 10 rounder. Now, I'd love my a Rem 1100, but price is the big key. Ideas?

Re: Scatter gun
I really like my Benelli M4. But I don't know what your price range is.
I have read some good things about the Winchester Super X3 (supposed to be the fastest cycling semi-auto 12 gauge made I think) but I have never shot one. Those are running around $800-ish I think last time I looked.

Re: Scatter gun
For this budhet, I'm setting at 650, not that it can't be added to in the near future, I just decided that was the most I will spend on a 12 gauge.

There's a M3 that's been on one of the local FB gun groups for the last week or two.Dave1965 wrote:ssracer wrote:Mmm M4...$$$$

like my M4 and my M1 both, excellent! Go for a used M1 or M3 and you can probably find them around 700-800

Re: Scatter gun
That sucks... I thought about it when I first saw it and then decided against it. I need to hold out on purchases until I see if there are going to be any great Black Friday deals I can't pass up...haha

Scatter gun
What I'm wanting is a shotie with 7-10 round magazine. Shortest barrel possible and able to fire multiple different loads, lite and heavy. Would a pump be more dependable? My knowledge of shotguns is limited to the Moss M500 the Army uses.

What do you all think of this? A Mossberg 930 SPX.

Re: Scatter gun
The reviews I've read so far today suggest its a decent, dependable shotgun. As with anything a few flaws that can be fixed cheaply, but I won't be using it to its full potential so I might never see them surface.
