Cutts Compensator pinned and welded to barrel for OAL of 18.5
Also joined with screws in fact more will be added.
Barrel shourd from a Winchester trench gun fitted

Rail drilled/tapped on reciever

Weaver base inletted to forend for light/laser .
Gun will be refinished by owner

Will that tame the recoil any? Will it make the perceived muzzle blast louder? Isn't the Cutts Compensator the device they installed on Thompson Sub-machine guns to tame the recoil and make them more controllable?

Yes the Cutts Compesator was the original muzzle device on Tommy Gun

Lyman bought the rights later and started to use the design in a external choke tube configuration.

I doubt that will control recoil , may reduce muzzle climb, will make blast /muzzle flash precesived louder/brighter.

Fired it and the Cutts stayed on!!
