Anyone with experience with Benelli M2 or M4 clones?

Post by Geno » Thu Dec 01, 2022 7:07 pm

I realize it is probably "fools gold" but, some of these Turkish clones look and sound attractive for the money. I've watched some videos of the Panzer M4 and Girsan 312's seem better than TriStar or Stoeger versions. I had a TriStar... not impressed. Just looking for some info. Only referencing the autoloaders. Geno

From the videos and reviews, it seems the Panzer M4 is a really good shotgun.

There’s a pretty good thread on arf about these- a couple guys got them and have ran them; the bottom line seems to be for light, infrequent use they are ok. I believe several has QC issues that has to be dealt with right off the bat and several broken internal parts started showing up pretty soon…

James Reeves over at TFB has been putting out a series of videos testing Turkish clones and he's not had good luck with them.

Turknelli Torture Test: Are Benelli M4 Clones Any Good?
There are criminals among us who are both homicidal and incorrigible. Their parents took a shot at civilizing them and failed. Their school teachers took a shot at them and failed. The odds are overwhelming that government welfare programs and penal institutions took a shot at them and failed. If it ever becomes your turn to take a shot at them, don’t fail.

If your not wanting to spend Benelli cash and want something good get Mossberg SPX or Beretta 1301. Those are still top tier scatter guns

I have a turknelli m4, it's branded as a Canuck Elite Operator here. Super heavy and I don't really like the ergos with a pistol grip shotgun but that's not specific to the Turkish delight. It's slow to load compared to something like a 1301 and tactical sights on a shotgun are gay.

It hasn't failed in any way for me though, I've put about 2000 rds through it in the time I've had it. Mostly target load but whenever it goes out it has shells hammered through it as fast as it can be reloaded. It's a toy.

I have a panzer M4, put the extended tube on it and while I have not shot it much at all it has been 100% reliable with the 3-4 boxes I've put though it.
