Drool. I'm a sucker for real ivory, but those prices are a little stiff.

Real Elephant Ivory grips are 450 to 500 a set these days.

Mammoth is a relative of an elephant and these are cheaper than the previous price.

Can't import elephant ivory into the US any more, even from countries where it is perfectly legal to hunt elephants, so the elephant ivory is going to go up even higher where mammoth tusk basically all comes from Russia Where every spring in Siberia when the ice melts and reveals new ground more mammoths are found.

As a fan of ivory, I am painfully aware of how rare and expensive it is. I have some ivory pieces that could potentially land me in jail under the new laws, because they were family heirlooms with no documentation or provenance.
