Re: 1911 Picture Thread
Okay so for my second post....
Had this one in my hands and let it get out the door. HAd a VERY good customer who "Just HAD to have it." 1972 70 series Govt. Mdl in 38 super.
A Unit Gun for the 101st and Operation Iraqi Freedom III #99 of 101 guns. A springfield Loaded with a SWEET Trigger. Sent it back to SA to have the Idiot Mark buffed out and the Ambi-safety removed. It was wiggling out and malfunctioning. had it replaced with a stander right handed safety lever.
My Current Carry gun, in the store that is, A Les Baer Ultimate Tactical Carry, 1 1/2" package. Shoots FAR better than I ever could.
My Daily carry, Colt Defender with CT grips.

Re: 1911 Picture Thread
Got this one a while ago, need to tear it apart and give it a good de-gumming. Pre S70 National Match, its seriously neglected. Rusty, grimy, gooey. I've never had a pistol that was so hard to remove the barrel bushing, I wonder if its ever been taken down.

Address is in my Sig. I wish I could have kept it. Had a customer who wanted it VERY badly. In Commiefornia right now on Jim Hogue's bench being made into a twin for his 45 hard ball gun. It is being well taken care of.Mexican Kerry wrote:I'd give my third nut for that one. PM your address!CrossroadsSS wrote:Okay so for my second post....

When a Good customer hands you THAT many Benjamin's, you really think twice about keeping one like that.

Re: 1911 Picture Thread
Thought I would make this my first post on the forum... I have been enjoying it for a week or so now...
I owned this one for a few months... this is what I traded for... Not a 1911, but it IS a nice pistol ... and I got a few hundred extra cash to boot... I acquired this S&W at a show... traded a nice Para (which I don't have pics of) I owned all of a few days...
