New (to me ) 1911 Project

Post by RecoilSensitive » Wed May 29, 2013 11:26 am

I picked up a 1911, it is a nice piece and has some upgrades. It seems lack of oil has lead to some surfacerust on small parts and the slide has some duracoat in lettering that i do not care for.

Time for a makeover

I have 3 color schemes in mind what do yall think

I have the 10/8 Performance Rear Sight (.140 notch) with a front night sight. I find that I have very fast target acquisition with this set up. Was not sure when i got it, but I am damn sure liking it a lot now that I have used it.
