Meet the new Springifield Echelon

Looks like they are taking a queue from Sig and their FCU design.

I'm bored of plastic striker fired pistols.

Isn’t that market fairly well saturated by now?

Yes, but they are basically the only ones other than Sig now doing the chassis system, which is very likely the way of the future with these types of pistols.

So far a few mag plates yeeting themselves is the only negative I’ve seen about it…lol

They do have a rather cool optic mounting system on it. I'm not looking at one myself. Just shared a new gun I saw advertised. I've been eying the Canik SFX Rival or a Bereta 92 for my next range toy.

I regret letting mine go.

Honest Outlaw did a review on YT he seems to really like it. I don't think I'll be getting one as it isn't a carry gun, for me, and would fit the same use case as the shadow 2.

I have no use for it either. I just would wait a while either way. The pimped the shit out of the DS Prodigy and it gets a lot of complaints.

I love the 3rd Gen Smiths, but I’m not planning on buying another one. If you break something simple like the slide stop pin or the side plate it’s getting really hard to find replacement parts. I got lucky and managed to find a slide stop pin for my 1076. The parts person at S&W said they only had two more left in stock, and that was almost 10 years ago.

Midway USA gets those hard to find parts in sometimes.
Other times I'll go to Gunbroker.
I've bought complete parts minus the frame, for decent prices, for a few of my 2nd and 3rd gen Smiths.
