I went over to Point Blank to look at theirs when I had a few minutes. The grip is incredible compared to a stock Glock, better than my modified grip Glock, but not QUITE as comfortable as a VP9 in my hands. The texture on the back is quite aggressive, but not painful or going to turn your hands to pulp like some people seem to think.

The trigger wasn't amazing, but it was very good. Similar pull weight to my lightened Overwatch Precision Glock trigger. Zero grit, some sponge at the front, "crisp" break typical of a very good striker fired trigger, and the reset was pretty awesome.

There were no issues at all with the slide stop/release being too stiff, but I would like to see the release itself extended juuust barely, with the high point in the middle and ramped slightly to the top and bottom.

The magazine release was not stiff with an empty magazine, obviously couldn't play with a loaded magazine. The mag ejected quite positively but did not drop from the pistol until the magazine release itself was released. I forgot to mess with the left handed controls.

Takedown was a little odd... it kind of hung up a few times, trying to remove the slide in the same way as a Glock. If I had more time and wasn't being diligently watched I probably could have figured out exactly what was up.

Reported accuracy from every P10 in capable hands has been excellent, BUT there was quite a bit of cumulative play in the barrel-to-slide-to-frame fit. That doesn't necessarily matter, if the accuracy rocks regardless, but it was there.

Overall and from quick initial assessment without firing I'd call it a good answer, but not THE answer. There are currently numerous high quality and well-featured polymer framed, striker fired Glock alternatives. I expect to be happy when my P10 finally arrives.

Put about 500 thru it already and it's definitely a keeper. For what it's worth my slide does not 'auto-forward' when reloading. Really liking the way this one handles and it may replace my 10+ year glock carry habit once I get it rmr'd.

I got to put about 150rds through a brand new one this weekend, along with a few others. Very nice pistol, but nothing special. I loved the grip texture and grip angle, sights, look and I think accuracy with some getting used to time with it. If I really concentrated, i was good. Every one that shot it were low left shooting natural. The trigger was nice, but didn't feel natural. If you have smaller hands/shorter fingers and normally have to kinda reach for the trigger, the trigger will likely lock up on you. You have to get a good deep purchase on the trigger with your trigger finger or you will not depress the trigger safety. This happened to a few of us, not just me. I've never had this happen with anything else with similar style trigger safeties. Even something with a larger grip like a Glock 21. Something I think some repetition would solve, but something more than one of us noticed...
It also took a little breaking in. A few fte/stovepipes. Not really a full stovepipe, but not stuck in the chamber still either. Kinda in between...
Over all I like the gun, probably not enough to buy one. I'd take a VP9 or PPQ as far as striker fired guns go, over it anyday... Nice pistol for the money, not what all the hype is making it though.
Also, it doesn't fit ANY 9mm Glock holster I own. Bama/Comp-tac/Fobus/unknown mystery holster. Comp-tac was the closest. It would go in at it's loosest point, but would open the slide about a 1/4"...
A list of the ammo used and what it failed with. In the order it was shot. Keep in mind, the first line was the first rounds fired from this gun since it left the factory test fire... Image

Nice, thanks for the info. You aren't the first person to have trouble with the trigger safety.

You're welcome. Trigger safety is definitely unique... I was looking at it compared to the Glock trigger and I think a lot of it's the shape of the trigger. The CZ is kinda flat all the way across the face of it, like meaning with the safety pressed it's essentially flat from edge to edge. Where the Glocks are tapered out to the edge with the highest point of the trigger being where the safety is when it's depressed. That being said, it would probably improve everyones trigger finger positioning if you shot this a ton...haha

I put another 150rds through it tonight. All 115gr Fed and it ran 100% flawless as it should! Just as I expected, with some more rounds my accuracy improved a lot! Out of 150rds at exactly 25' I missed my 9x9" plates once only and that was doing fairly rapid double taps after I was getting more comfortable. Slow and controlled, I was keeping all 15rds at a time in I would say about 4-5" circle on them. And right where I was aiming, not low left like my first shots yesterday. Again, that was only at 25'. I would definitely say accuracy equal to VP9 or PPQ in my hands. I like the feel of it as much as those, if not better, but like the VP9/PPQ triggers much better. It is very quick back on target also. I loved the aggressive texture of the grip too!

In my mind, I've always felt like the most accurate pistols always seem to drop the brass in a nice close pile. I have no scientific evidence of this, just something I notice picking up brass. This one kept it all pretty tight. I picked up 131 pieces out of the 150 I shot all within less than a 5' circle in tall grass and not searching much because it was hot as balls and I was sweating my nuts off!

My last 15rds pretty much as fast as I could pull the trigger with control. I would say 5-8 seconds total. I was pushing them down as I went for whatever reason. They lined up pretty nice though other than the few at the bottom right...haha Plate is 9x9" Image
