Night Sights for Shield 9mm
I'm looking to purchase a set of night sights for a 9mm Shield. I don't know much about any of the brands out there so I need some help. If you were looking for a decent set of night sights that won't break the bank, what would you choose? Also, where would you get them? I've seen several online retailers.

I've looked at the Trijicon sights a lot the last few days and I like them. They are expensive though. I like the Ameriglo sights though. The price is right too. Are they bright like the Trijicon set?

Bright enough, when looking over at my nightstand a few feet away every night I can clearly pick out the sights.1fastmach1 wrote:I've looked at the Trijicon sights a lot the last few days and I like them. Really just comes down to if you like the traditional 3 dot sights or the 2 dot.

I don't have a Shield, but I'm a fan of Ameriglo sights in general. They use Trijicon vials, if that helps your decision.1fastmach1 wrote:I've looked at the Trijicon sights a lot the last few days and I like them. They are expensive though. As an aside, Ameriglo has great customer service, as well. A couple of years ago I ordered a couple of rear sights that were shown as "in stock" on their website. The next day a rep called to tell me they were actually out of stock. He apologized profusely and offered to send me a comparable set at half price. They won themselves a customer for life.

I really like the classic three dot night sights that Ameriglo has to offer. I'm really leaning towards these. Besides, who doesn't love the idea of great customer service?
