Anyone close to florence/boone county able to install night sights on a s&w shield 9mm for me? Cranky is sadly too faraway for me to drive :(

You could call around the local shops and see if they install sights, figure it out with a couple c clamps, or go buy the appropriate stuff.

The Shield is a bit more of a pain in the ass to do than most, or so I have been told. One guy refused to do it, and Cranky had to keep mine overnight (three days, actually) because he couldn't get it with the sight tools in his shop. The sights had to be cut out.

Might want to ask around a bit.

It is easy to remove once you mill a deep enough groove.
