Making a list of parts to hunt down, in the meantime I figured I'd start with the ol' rattle can first.
Pretty light, might add some fde over top and see what happens. Can't do much else until I figure out what I'm going to do with it mechanically.

M14 project
Finally tore my Norinco M305 apart today, getting to know the inner workings a bit. Not as complicated as I thought, should be an interesting build. I want to make it a simple, reliable rifle with user friendly controls. Its currently pretty rough, although its decent in function. Minor things like mag release/safety shouldn't be a big deal, but they are a pain in stock form. I also want to smooth out the action a bit, so I need to figure out what I can do with existing parts, and what needs swapping.

I think you should paint it snow cammo now, then remove the decals....that would look sick
