I need the kind that has a couple or 3 pins that go into the gas tube holes...
The .308's I have assembled in the past ... I have used the 'clamp on' style of handguard (like CMMG, Leaper's, etc.) and it used a different type of barrel nut wrench... so I haven't invested in one yet... but I am on this build that I would like to finish up soon (sooner than a tool can get shipped here) and am in need right now ...
If I can't get one, I may end up having to 'build' one ...

Armalite or DPMS pattern? I think mine has Armalite on one side and DPMS on the other, I've have to go check. I can bring it to Roosters.

I just pulled it out and it's not marked as such but I seem to recall it's suppose to be AR-10 (Armalite) on one side and LR-308 (DPMS) on the other. The pins are somewhat different on each side. I used it on my AR-10

Darn it, I just looked it up on the manufacture's website and it only fits AR-10 pattern rifles. The other side is for the original (I would assume they mean the 1950s) AR-10

If you would bring it with, I will bring a barrel nut with me and see if it fits ... if it does, I would like to borry it ... if it does not...I guess I will have to improvise ...

Big pair of slip joint pliers with leather padding
No shit- Armilite factory told me that is what they use on handguard nuts.
