I understand that but the two features, folding and optic rail, do clash due to the way it folds.

The odds are overwhelming that government welfare programs and penal institutions took a shot at them and failed. If it ever becomes your turn to take a shot at them, don’t fail.

Yeah, that is odd. Just don't fold it. Or buy one and not like it because you can't use an optic, then sell it to me for a loss...haha

I got plans for one of these as a stash carbine. It only accepts the 17 mags and larger correct? 19's won't fit?

My 1st Gen .40 uses either G22 or G23 mags. I also scored several of the KCI 31 rd mags that work with it, very well.

I also found a 50rd drum last year during Black Friday sales, but have not had a chance to test it. It is just like the 50rd 9mm drums for Glocks. I question how well it's going to work in the S2K, as it is very heavy when loaded. May be problematic with a plastic mag retainer, which I believe is the same in the Gen 2 S2K.

BTW, I solved the optic issue on mine with a flip to the side rail mount. So far, I have tested it with a real optic (scope) & a red dot. Both worked great.

I had a gen1 with a G17 grip and it was awesome! One I kinda regret letting go. I like the rail set up and the threaded barrel of this Gen2 so much more. Should be pretty damn cool...Especially suppressed! :-)

$50 more than msrp. I really want one, but not enough to pay bungholes more than new prices for them. If I have to wait to not pay a crazy price, I have no problems with that. I'm a patient person... I don't have to be the first kid with the newest toy. I'll wait it out and get two cool toys! haha

Paying more for used then a new one is ludicrous.

If you just forgo the whole folding it thing, it would make a pretty good Sub gun. One of them Fastfire red dots, a TRL light , and a bunch of paddle type magazine pouches stuffed with 33s.

I would jump on one for $450 or under...It's a BLAST!!! It has functioned flawless also. Wasn't bad shooting wrong handed either.

They seem to be turning up here and there. 111 has had a few (where I got that one...), same with Tilfords, I've heard of a few other locals also having them. All were around $430.
