No, not yet. Not sure of the route I am going to take on mine. Though I have been reading it is a bit more involved to finding a good combination for you taking the stock, cheek riser, mount, and scope into account.

You are correct. With these rifles you almost end up with chin weld. I'm leaning toward the arms #18 mount because it appears to be very low, almost too low. I've read that sometimes brass ends up stuck between the mount and receiver. I think this can be fixed with a milling machine.

Re: M1A scope mount. . .
Greg,
I have an A.R.M.S. #18 that I had on my SA M1A loaded... I have just recently sold/traded it and ended up keeping the mount because the guy is an 'iron sights' guy ... and with those NM sights, if you have the eyes for it, they are really great...
I had it on the rifle for about a month with an M-308 Nikon mounted on it... Great combination, I must say...
PM me if you have an interest... I would probably sell it... as I don't think I will see another SA soon...'
BTW, I still have that 6.8 brass in my shop ... Do you still have your 6.8?
Thanx,
Allan
