Keltecs R&D department must be bigger than their production department by about 10-1.

I was going to add
They need to expand their production line first, not their product line.

BTW: Target date is sometime in late 2014. In other words, we'll see the first one sometime in 2022

Yep
Don't keep the drum mag on it, I just did that for the photo, makes it look even uglier.

That not only looks ugly but very cheap and thrown together (the keltec pic) not a fan. Ps is it only in .223 and not 5.56 as I'm reading and that makes it all the worse.

Look like typical prototypes to me.
A lot of companies use the terms 223 and 5.56 interchangeably.
Only having a picture and extremely little info of a gun probably still years away doesn't help.

Had a RDB that was returned to KELTEC for repair.
I got it to fix after the factory repair failed.

Seems the design was a copy of a Bushmaster M-17 IMO.

It was a well made gun

RFB maybe there cranky?
M17 is based on the AR-18/180, RFB internals look nothing similar.

Sorry RFD

One of the recoil spring seats broke loose from the spot weld in top cover so I did not even worry about the internals.

Plus it is a goofy bullpup , you WDJ are the expert in those.

So if it is not , then it is not.
The spring spot weld issue, seen this in the Kel-Tec forum, think it was suppose to be limited to a certain S/N range if I recall right. Have had zero issues with mine.
BTW: Who is WDJ and what's a RFD? :llama:

Ssssshitt
Too many initials in this thread
PDQ it went FUBAR

Sorry WLJ a RFB
As for a recall that is unknown.
Only know what customer told me.
I do know . I hope I never see that again,
Orginial idea was to use the spring guide to hold the seat in the right spot and then tack it in place
So I replaced the spring back on the guide, that was the mistake , removing the spring.
I only launched the guide once and my tv caught it. Put a dent in the tube, luckily did not break the old TV.
I can see way there are two springs, one spring would be near impossible to draw back.

I TIGed the seat back in spot after measuring and clamping in place.
I silver soldered it also just to make sure it held.

No recall that I recall, just a certain range of S/Ns was mention as having this issue. They do have lifetime warranties.
