There are criminals among us who are both homicidal and incorrigible. Their parents took a shot at civilizing them and failed. Their school teachers took a shot at them and failed. The odds are overwhelming that government welfare programs and penal institutions took a shot at them and failed. If it ever becomes your turn to take a shot at them, don’t fail.

I don't see a price on it but if its reasonable and of decent quality I might get one. Pistol Caliber carbines are popular for whatever reason, heck I have 6 different ones that I can think of.

No. It's an M1....30 or nothing. There's plenty of 9mm carbines out there, no reason to bastardize a classic

Hold on, it would be a very good rifle even for modern use if they would throw a specialized bullet worth a damn in it. Say 10mm, 9x23Win, 9x25dil, it has the length and piston system needed to get some serious power and speed. Im a huge fan of it, with a red dot thrown up on it whats not to love?

well there are a multitude of .22 lookalikes out there already (including one in this style) so I see no difference. I already have 2 .30 carbines, fun to shoot, but ammo is scarce and costs more than 9mm.

I saw prices of $375 for synthetic stock and $425 for wood.
I'd like to see it in .357 sig.

I've been waiting for someone to make a 357sig carbine. Hot little round out of a 16" barrel.

I agree with SOL. 10mm would be awesome, in the true sense of the word. Geno

It's not an M1 carbine. It's a blowback-operated gun with an M1 stock. I am no more offended by this than I am the various .22LR clones of ARs, MP5s, etc.

It is certainly a gun of limited utility (my 9mm JRC's role is nighttime pest elimination), but I can see it being a fun gun to shoot (which is what most pistol caliber carbines are *really* about). If it is indeed a ~$400 gun that uses cheap, easily-found magazines I think there's room in the market for it.

Beretta mags are an odd choice to me. If I were to change anything, it would be to accept something a bit more common like Glock. I know "they all use Glock mags" but why fix it if it ain't broke?

Really though, it seems like another one of those answers to a question that wan't asked. Rimfire, I can see the appeal to making a clone type rifle. Everyone likes a .22 and everyone likes the M1.

I have found beretta mags easy to come by around here. Nobody wants the mil issue m9 mags and they are cheap. People ask too much for Glock mags.

I see. Glock mags are easier here, but they are all expensive. My G21 mags run about 50 bucks. Still have a pile of em, need to get a pistol to go with them again.

Because a lot of people like the look and feel of the M1C (including me) and would it make a handy dandy home/truck/fun/whatever gun and 9mm is cheaper and more available than 30 carbine is right now. Do I heard people complaining AR-15 9mm's are bastardizing a classic? 223 AKs?
Besides, it's not like they're cutting up old ones to do it.

I'm seeing prices at $500 being talked about now. Still don't know where you could buy one or if they are even out yet. I think I'd really put one of these to use. Perhaps a car/truck gun. $500 is reasonable if it's reliable Imo. I'd like to shoot some milk jugs with some of the 90 grain +p 9mm out of this 16 inch barrel.
