Remington 742 and 750 and other Remington semi-auto rifles.
Re: Remington 742 and 750 and other Remington semi-auto rifl
So Crank1 can you give me alittle info on your experience with them. I am alittle confused there are model# 742, 7400, 750 and so on. In your experience are they jamo-matic or good runners. I am thinking about a 30-06 in one with a few 10 rds mags to go with it. Any off the cuff info from you would be great.

Stay from 742
Get the newer ones
7400 etc.
The 742 the bolt head will get out of time and start to rotate into battery before the race.
That would tear and wear down the guide rib , which leads to not feeding well and other issues.
Most guys will not have a problem even from grandapop's rifle because it has onjy been shoot 100 times.
