Savage 110 (.223) threaded barrel ??

Post by dbh » Fri Feb 01, 2013 1:32 pm

I picked up a used Savage 110 FP in .223 thinking it would be a good suppressor host. It has a bull barrel on it and is f@#king heavy! Anybody know where I can get a lighter barrel already threaded for a suppressor / muzzle brake? My Googlefu hasn't turned up much.

TIA

Look for Shillen (spelling?) barrels.
They build barrels for Savage to your specs, they also have a variety of in house specs to choose from.
