Enfield question

Post by Dave1965 » Wed Apr 04, 2012 7:08 pm

I have a 1942 US Property marked enfield .303 british No.4 Mk 1 rifle. I have had this gun for probably 25 years and never fired it. Thinking of cleaning out my old bolt rifles. Does anyone have any experience with these? I don't know how to value it. It is not new but not abused. Its in decent collector condition I believe. I would rather just put the money toward more modern stuff.

If #'s match and no import marks, it could fetch $350+.

NoNoNo....these guys are trying to gyp you.
Old "Honest Henry" tells you straight.
The rifle is really worth $111 and a rabbits' foot.

Well I wonder if it is a problem that I have never shot it. I know I have a box of 20 rounds SOMEWHERE around the basement for it but really had no desire to shoot it. I guess I can post that if I sell it. I was thinking $300.

$111 and forget the rabbits foot, you rabbit hunt in either Hodgenville or New Washington.
