Mauser K98
Hey fellas! I'm in search of a Mauser 98k with original markings and a decent finish between 1938 and 1944. It doesn't have to have matching serial numbers, but I would prefer the parts of the gun to be German, Austrian, or Czech. Any ideas on where I could find one?
Also, I've looked at Mitchell's Mausers but I would really like to avoid getting yugoslavian replacement parts from the M48 and such. I wouldn't be opposed to buying a russian capture as long as the markings haven't been scratched out. Thanks in advance!

National Gun Day show in Louisville on Sept. 7 & 8 and there will be probably more than you care to look at there.
Classic Firearms in Lexington usually has one or two german mausers around and they are usually the " bring back " trophy type.

I'll probably check out that gun show you mentioned Dave! Classic Firearms in Lex did have some good solid mausers in stock but unfortunately they were out of my price range. Thanks for the info!
