Hello everyone, I want to say thanks for the welcoming to the forum.

As my first piece of business on this forum I feel it is important to give back to men and woman who fight for our rights and serve their country. So I want to do a raffle (hopefully one of many) I am going to work over the next few days setting up a raffle for an Anderson AR15 stripped lower. All proceeds will go to the Wounded Warrior Project in the name of KentuckyArmoryClub. I plan on doing the raffle at 5$ each.
If this turns out good I will continue to do this, hopefully several times a year and with the prizes getting better and better. If anyone has any suggestions or comments please let me know.

Thanks,
Jason

Could you add some details about ways of entering the raffle and payment options, please?

I'd be in for $20 depending on pay options.

Excellent, That's what Im going to be working on. Id like a page setup where everyone that donates can see the money that has been raised. Kinda like a GofundMe page or something. And also so there is no doubt the money will be donated! I will try to get everything setup tomorrow or Monday.

Also if the winner cant meet to transfer the AR Lower I will pay for shipping and Transfer Fee.

The problem with GoFundMe and similar sites is that they take a decent chunk of the funds raised. I'd rather see all of the proceeds go to the intended recipients.

Same here. I think most everyone around here is pretty trusting, at least until you prove unworthy, then you don't last too long.

Ok. Thanks for that info. Yes, I want 100% of the proceeds to goto the project! I will figure it out the best way for us to go about this.

Thanks, I appreciate that.

I think what I am going to do is just accept the money via paypal. I think I will start the Raffle August 1st and let it run through Sept 1st. Again, I am open to Ideas and suggestions.

Thanks,
Jason
