AMD 65 Make-over

Post by tannerss09 » Tue Dec 11, 2012 12:33 am

I decided to redo my recently acquired AMD 65. I decided to do the frame in flat black and the foregrip/gas tube in a texture. Hope you all like it!

Sorry for the blurry picture.

Here is a better picture of the detail. I'm not sure why it's so bright.

At first it looks all rusty, I like it!

Thanks a lot man. I was curious as to how it would turn out. I'm pleased with the results.

Buy mags, ammo, and shoot. The end.

Shot my AMD for the first time at dusk just to see the muzzle flash. It is a smooth shooting weapon and pretty accurate. It will be a keeper unless they hit the $1,000 mark... :)

The only issue I had was the cleaning rod was bouncing all over the place so I just took it out.

It must not have been snapped in all of the way. It will go in and be under a certain amount of tension and should not do that.
