Norinco vs Russian SKS
Which is better? Any major differences?

Russian by far is the best. If you can find a Russian at a decent price, get one.renovatio wrote:Which is better? Any major differences?
I owned both Norinco and Russian. The Russian SKS just seems like a better made gun. My Norinco's rear sight came off after a couple hundred rounds.
But, the same holds true for the Norinco. If you find one at a good price, grab it up too!

The Russian is going to be a little higher quality/beefier feeling, to me. Both are great rifles. I love shooting them all. The Russians are more rare/less plentiful than the Chinese and being the original country of origin, demand a higher price. At the range, you'll notice little if any difference.

My first Norinco cost $69 at Ray's gun range. I should have kept it too.....g19 wrote:I loved my Norinco but at $150 whats not to love. Put multiple thousands of rounds through it and sold it for $380...man I regret selling that gun.
