What's your all opinions on the new magpul AK furniture? My opinion is I wish I had a AK to put it on.

Obviously it looks plastic. Plastics anything hasn't held up well on any of my AKs. I'd say you'd have it smoking pretty quite.

Anything Magpul does, is done well.
They just released info on their 60 round AR drum and are my 700 stock as well.

I'm considering picking up a Wasr or something to give it a shot. They've also peaked my interest with the G17 mags. I plan to get a couple to run in my G34

Lots of people talking about the G17 mags so I wasn't interested but half price almost and their name has me interested a little bit.

I'm going to wait a while. Just spent a good chunk of change on my AK getting a red dot, rail, and compensator. Not looking to spent it on anything else until after I've trained a bit.

It'll be interesting to see how they hold up. The folding stock mechanism could be a potential weak link (as on any polymer folder) unless it's properly done and potentially steel reinforced. With all the variety in AK's and the loose tolerance, the fit and rigidity of MAGPUL's new furniture will be the big selling point for us.
