AK is one thing I have personally never owned. Dad had one when i was a kid and I loved shooting it. Guess I need to add one to my list of wants....

WASRs are still almost reasonable, cost wise, and if you get a good one, they are outstanding rifles. Mine runs like a Swiss watch. Not as accurate as I prefer, but it'll do in a pinch.

My one and only. I really want, and will have more. Romanian kit on a Kentucky made Southern Armament receiver.

My local shop, Mikes, has a brand new one from the distributor for $479 right now. I never had any problems with WASR's.

I'm thinking of picking up another ak. I sold the other one I had but I'd like a more traditional version. What are some common problems with wasrs other than canted sights?

Mag wobble. The magazine wells are cut out by CAI (from single stack to double stack) and they sometimes get carried away with the Dremel.

Wish I never would of sold all my AK's off sometimes.

I'm trying to decide on one of these pap pistols. Anyone know of the quality or anything I should be worried about. The price is right on them for sure.

Buy one now while the prices are low. Im sure that eric holder will find a way to ban any importation of these soon enough.

Arsenal Sam7uf, with houge grip, midwest industries rail, and cnc warrior flash suppressor. Mike from Meridian ordnance ordered and installed parts, great work! Putting a vortex viper up front.

3rd from the left with the thumbhole stock is a MAK90...no?

That's my favorite look by far, of all the AK variations with wood furniture out there (well...kinda like VEPR's too). Do want.

Same for me. Dad had a MAK90 with a thumbhole stock. Was a blast to shoot. Never had an AK personally nor had the urge to get one until recently.

AK in .223 interests me a lot. To have an AK and be able to split the ammo between it and my AR would be awesome. So now I'm shopping around for my first.

Very Nice mode of Kalashnikov ! I always thought that was one of the cleanest conversions I have seen in the Kalashnikov line. I also saw it over at saiga-12 forums as well.

Here's my quick and dirty conversion of my SGL-10. Waiting on the trigger guard, gas block with lug, 74 butt stock, and bullet guide. I have hand cycled 3 mags through this w/o a bullet guide without a hitch though.....I'm thinking of doing something a little different with this one though. All mine have the side folders on them. What do you guys think? Solid stock, or go with an ACE, or do another side folder?

FEG AMD-65. Magpul grip. UTG Pro quad rail. Magpul Angled Foregrip. Bonesteel folding stock. Due to clearance issues with the stock, I had to fold it the other direction but I like it.
