Cons:
Price tag
No way to mount a tac light
Price tag

Century Arms C39 $700-800

Pros:
Milled receiver
Able to mount tac light
Just about HALF the cost
Made in America

Cons:
Non chrome lined barrel
Fixed stock
Single safety
No side optics mounts
Centurion reputation



Are the features of the Arsenal and its reputation worth the extra $600 to you fellas?

If you have the cash to drop on the arsenal I very much doubt you will regret the purchase.

I've heard good thing about the c39 on different forums. The price is right. I wouldn't spend the extra.

It was wild when the ricochet hit his truck topper window and shattered it. I had a ricochet when SNL and I were shooting paper at New Haven somehow and it put a seriously deep chunk into SUV right by the glass and c pillar. It's fixed now from body shop but if it would have hit us then we would have been sent to hospital.

I would rather have the American made gun and for less money at that but I still like Arsenals as well.

Yes. That's where I first heard about the C39, pretty impressive.

Can anyone speak to the difference in barrels? Can anyone speculate if the C39 will be less accurate than the Arsenal?? If I do go with the C39, I'll spend the difference on ammo and accessories. I'm wanting a tac light and a good tactical sling, what would ya'll recomend...from your own experience?

Just bought the Arsenal. $1,275, $30 for shipping, $25 transer fee...$1,330 all in all. I just couldn't get over the non chrome lined barrel and some of the reviews of C39 having canted sights and other issues. If you want a top of the line product you have to cough up the extra coin. Thanks for your input fellas.

I'm sure yours will be fine but canted sights and other quality control issues are not uncommon on newer Arsenals. Guy on ak-files got a real piece of work a few weeks ago, they ended up replacing the whole rifle I think.
