$10. Steel 30 round. I bought some, but didn't check the country of origin. Most of those were nice mags.1fastmach1 wrote:Alrighty. Thanks for the tip. I'll try to find some. 111 had some steel ak mags on sale for like 7 bucks last time I was there. They had a whole crate full. I'm not sure what kind they were or if they were any count though.Toddstang wrote:Nice AK. Maybe they were $10. That's a long haul though for mags. I might make a trip of it tomorrow if they are open.Marcus wrote:$10. Steel 30 round. I bought some, but didn't check the country of origin. Seem to be. They have black ones and ones with a more gray coloring. It's my opinion that the black ones were nicer. Some still needed cleaning to get the cosmoline out of them.

Not uncomfortable at all.1fastmach1 wrote:That's a good looking rifle. I bet it's not very comfy to shoot with that stock on the back of it. Regardless of how well these are supposed to be, having the century name on it makes me extremely nervous.

One of the best mods for the AMD, bought some 1/4 round stock and had a buddy braze it on.SNL wrote:Not uncomfortable at all.1fastmach1 wrote:That's a good looking rifle. I kick myself for not buying one from Centerfire when they were only $50 for a complete kit with barrel, back in 2004-5.Jason wrote:Home-built AMD's are also pretty common. The kits were fairly cheap for awhile and a lot of people built them. I've seen some absolutely horrible examples!
