Re: BOB/GHB pic thread

I have a little kelty pack I got at Sams club with a 3 liter bladder in it. I keep a kabar, fishing gear, some jerky, a fire starter, a mylar blanket, and a frontier pro water purifier. I mostly use it for camping, but it could serve as an emergency bag if I had to get out and go somewhere on short...

Re: Classifieds Complaint Thread

A guy locally sold a Saiga 12 unconverted with the tapco setup for $1100. I asked him about it and he got all pissy, then it sold. I couldn't believe it.

Leupold MK4 CQ/T

I received this on trade and decided I will not use it since I just bought a Trijicon accupoint and neither will work on any of my other rifles. It was a tough decision to make and if it weren't for the wife I would probably just keep both to play around with lol. This is a Leupold MK4 CQ/T 1-3x14mm...

Re: What did you pick up today?

Leupold MKIV CQ/T. Now to decide whether I keep this or the Accupoint on the AR. Both have nice mounts (ARMS and LaRue, respectively) and are variable power, with nice glass.

My wife's uncle was the bus driver. He is okay, thankfully.

Re: New Fime group AK (Arsenal)

I was impressed with the fit and finish of the rifle, everything was very well done. I got the rifle on a trade, but the price of these things is just crazy considering it's just a nicely converted Saiga. I took it to the range next to my ~$400 AMD-65 and fired a 30 rounder through each of them at a...

Re: Army: We're Still Too Fat To Fight

Even if you max the PT test (PFT/PRT/etc) being fat makes your service look bad IMO. When I see a Marine/soldier/etc that is obviously fat, I don't ask them what their PT score was, I just think to myself how bad they look no matter what their MOS. Not trying to piss anybody off, just being honest.

Re: What did you pick up today?

My Accupoint came in today in a LaRue SPR-E mount. My AR is now missing BUIS and it will be done, I think. Also picked up this Docter MS02 sight a couple days ago. I threw the M1A in there since I didn't show it with a scope before. The scope isn't high dollar but should be fine for a while until I ...

$950 shipped to your FFL. I don't think this thing has ever even had a round chambered.

Re: How would you react to this at the range?

I would have definitely stopped them and gave them a good talking to. I won't go down range to check targets at the local range unless every rifle has the chamber showing clear one way or another. If someone doesn't (i.e. bolt forward) I have no problem asking them to do so. Range safety is everyone...

Archangel M1A stock

I usually laugh when I see 10/22s in the Archangel stocks, but their M1A stock seems to have pretty good reviews online and it looks to go for around $220. Does anyone have any first hand experience with these? I was going to save up for a JAE stock or something similar, but I am considering giving ...

This is the last pick up for me for a long while, the wife says so. Except for the MS03 I'm picking up tomorrow and the accupoint in the mail, but then that's it, I swear: http://i910.photobucket.com/albums/ac302/benprice88/IMG_1507_zps02cf0daa.jpg M1A scout I picked up today. Re: Survival food at Walmart

Who the hell needs 9 MREs for 72 hours?! I used to pack 1 MRE per day for a week in the field (mostly to keep weight down) and that was while humping through the woods with 150 pounds of gear on. Granted, I usually had a goodie bag full of beef jerky, MetRX bars, and the like, but still I usually on...

Good point. I guess I'm not used to the idea of not being a KY resident anymore (I did change my state of residency). How does $1k shipped to the FFL of your choice sound?
