It not a matter of wearing barrel out, it is mushrooming of the aluminum, and not ever getting barrel back out, or headspace issues. Granted it will take a lot of rounds for it to happen

FYI Rex, those TacSol al barrels use a steel liner inside the al oversleeve and the al has a tendancy to peen around the breechface, exposing the liner and causing headspacing issues.
