Re: Remington To Replace All R-51′s
Saw that coming. The funniest part is that if freedom arms had just left the managment structures in place as they bought the names, they could be sitting back just reaping the profits. I dont understand how you could run a company so poorly and it not be intentional? If they are smart, they will br...

Re: Ruger’s new PC Carbine
They should think about a chassis that will make it more like a PDW or assault rifle. If they had introduced it as a PDW with "pistol" barrels avalible and this ugly 10/22 look for neutered states I think it would have generated more buzz. Ruger is coming around, they are doing a whole lot better th...

Re: Hunting deer with rifles now illegal on Indiana public l
Im actually OK with them limiting the caliber on public land, its actually the one place they have the authority to do so. Public land hunting is a nightmare as it is. On private land ammo type should be up to the land owner. Indiana has stated this is a trial run and not a change that will remain w...

Where can one find an OCHSENKOPF brand tool? http://www.shforestrysupplies.com/AdvancedWebPage.aspx?p=Ochsenkopf&gclid=CjwKCAjwgvfOBRB7EiwAeP7ehn8gir8M3T-JDRmXZKGa6clYszrLtV_oCf7iPD9Qs9DKD0INDmXrxxoChqgQAvD_BwE In my opinion they are superior to any of the Swedish axes, these are tools to use by pr...

Re: Best general purpose axe for the money
OCHSENKOPF axes rock, about the best tool quality axe I have seen. In truth most hardware store axes are plenty up to daily use, its more about the initial cleaning up of the edge. Even the cheap Mexico forged heads are pretty good axe steel. Axes of the past had diffrent profiles for different task...

Re: Carry ammunition
I do.
I trust my handloads when loaded for serious use much more then any factory ammunition. Legality after a defense shooting is not my worry and this whole debate on it is some BS.

I got a few 10 rounders, they dont get in the way when you prone out. For the intended use of the rifle, 10 rounds is plenty.

Change compressor, change the O ring seals in the parts that you can get to easy, while your at it. Get new belt, and have it charged by someone who can vaccume it down.

I use a memphis style rub on pork, basicly its sugar, paprika, and salt based.
I smoke at 225-250 , until meat reaches 140, then I put it in a foil pan and cover. I cook it from there in my oven at 230 until the meat reaches 205. Should shake apart with enough juice to keep it sloppy moist.

I do it like whoots, but i dont even stencil or try to get some sort of patern, if its right there i might use a branch or leaf. But most of the time i just free hand it. I will say dont make it to thick , and choose your colors wisely. That's basically my plan also, and maybe only 2 or 3 colors. C...

I have carried one for about 18 months and find them to be perfect. Knives are in the 20 dollar range, you dpnt die when you loose it, e...
