I haven't had much chance to play with mag pull equipped magazines, but from what little experience I have had I prefer bare mags.

edit - disclaimer: I think I WOULD like pistol mags with ranger plates, but haven't had any chance to try them out.

In my personal opinion, no AR is complete without a BCM Gunfigher Mod4 charging handle. It is the most cost effective upgrade I can imagine.

EMAGs do fit all magazine wells that will fit STANAG magazines. However, Magpul has announced the next generation of PMAGs that are closer to STANAG dimensions and will fit non-Colt spec magazine wells (HK416, for instance). Honestly, it's probably an out of spec magazine well. It's not unheard of, and I wouldn't trust a gunshop on pretty much anything. But to be sure, get a hold of someone else's PMAGs (from as many different batches as you can) and see if any drop free. It's possible the mags are out of spec, if they'...

A few days ago I leaned back in my computer chair and it snapped in half (before the fat jokes start rolling in I weigh 155 pounds and the chair was already broken when it happened).

Replaced it today with a better chair, and the other day I got my new Nikon 18-55mm lens in the mail.
