On a similar note, my Winchester 1906 pump and Browning lever in .22 S/L/LR will eat ANYTHING I feed it. Even the crappiest dirty .22 on the market that will not feed in a semi auto.

My Uberti is .357 ONLY, it refuses to load most .38 ammo. I’ve tried 8 types and only (CORRECTION) New Republic (1.463) will load but inconsistently. With revolver loads the OAL can vary widely because the cylinder is longer and strait walled.

Here’s the little I know. Older rifles were designed for flat nosed ammo. NO spitzer type projectiles, can cause chain fire in tubes. My old Winchesters don’t care for plastic tipped.
