Bare lead bullets, even hardcast, are typically loaded to lower velocities than standard loads to prevent leading up barrels.

How much Titegroup does your manual call for on the 148gr bullet?

I just checked mine, it's date code is AH, which decodes to 2007, so it would appear mine's got the updated parts from the factory.
