Cotton Twine, Vaseline and Pine needles...

Re: Revising our history books
FYI folks, if you feel the need to quote a particular case for quick reference, I generally use DC v. Heller , specifically this part: (1) The Second Amendment protects an individual right to possess a firearm unconnected with service in a militia, and to use that arm for traditionally lawful purpos...

So? That doesn't mean they'll be convicted.Toddstang wrote:Now if you shot a police K-9, say that was wrongfully sent into your home, Im sure you would be charged with something along the lines of killing an officer.

Re: Cops break in without a warrant and shoot dogs
Cops can enter homes at will with just probable cause and shoot whomever or whatever is inside, but we're the ones that must be disallowed from too much firepower? If there's one angle I would use to support the declaration of pets as persons, it's in cases like this. My pets are family members. The...

I hate the grip safety. If I could find a 1911 without one, I'd prefer it.etownguy wrote:That's pretty much my point. People love the 1911 and I don't see complaints about their grip safety but Springfield people complain all the time it takes a matter of ounces to squeeze it.

Re: My crockpot Bourbon and Coke Roast recipe...
If you do, lemme know how it goes. It's a lot simpler than it sounds, you just cut up everything and toss it in. I just like to sear the beef with the onion first, for flavor, but it's quite flavorful already.

My crockpot Bourbon and Coke Roast recipe...
The Bourbon and Coke together are unbeatable in terms of tenderizing and flavoring the meat, especially with the seasoning and vegetables I added. The basic recipe I use for a 2.5lb Roast is: • 2oz. each of Bourbon and Coca Cola, per pound of beef • 1 packet of French Onion Soup Mix • 1 can of Swans...

Maybe not all but most that I have fired or worked on. I know about the vents, it's just impressive ...
