Re: Most you have paid for a meal?
A few times a year, the wife and I will have a date night- whether it's an anniversary, birthday, or just a much needed getaway. On average, it's $150-175, plus tip (so it's always around $200). The most expensive? The wife and I had a meal on a beach off the coast of Thailand that ran about $300-40...

Re: Las Vegas massacre
BLUF: I was there, staying at the Mandalay Bay. First time in Vegas. I'm glad KAC doesn't have all the conspiracy theories flying around. If I have to hear about the "multiple shooters" again from someone that wasn't there, I'm going to flip my shit. Basically, everyone sprinted out of there in the ...

Re: My first bolt gun!
I always look through the bore. Never used a laser. That would have been awesome to know. Yeah, I'm way too spur of the moment. :D And least I'm planning ahead a bit for the hunting part. Other than the "finding a guide and land" part. I see deer from my back window, but I'm in the city so it doesn...

My first bolt gun!
I can already hear it..." A 16" 308 is useless, wrong scope on that, waste of money, blah, blah... " :llama: So... I recently decided that I need to learn some new life skills and face new challenges, so I made the decision that I'm going to take up hunting this year. Because shooting, judging dista...

The Rattle Can Thread
So I noticed there are a lot of pictures, but they are spanned over many years and several threads. So here's a central place for all rattle canned weapons. If you've sprayed it, put it in here. This was first first attempt a few nights ago... https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/EKwQya4ELxs_th3rkBV3OV...

Re: Appendix carry
Hey! It's my thread! :) Well, I ended up with the PHLster. Been carrying appendix ever since. Works great with my casual wear. Just recently stepped into management and have to wear dress clothes now. The tuckable loop is handy, but I'm now looking for some c-clips or j-clips to make it less obvious...

Re: Finally broke my USPc 45 firing pin!
Thanks, Carlos, I'll have to look into getting one for my USPc/T. It's still my favorite .45 suppressor host. Are you sure a new firing pin costs $45? That seems pretty high, even for H&K. Crush, kill, mangle, maim, destroy. No, the pin is cheaper than that. Basically the firing pin, a new roll pin...

Finally broke my USPc 45 firing pin!
Well, it took around 15 years and somewhere in the 8K rounds ( USP Compact 45, AB date code) , but my firing pin finally had it. https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/s14GqAa_JZNgOjHkAHl-9xh-PN94rXFap9eUnd2SsVJ1NUPt1T8uWVMSR54-G5I_-IPwFkXtTiO60zcOaAA_jrF_-wrEUJHUX9DkwC1qenBjfciHEGS4J5_DjpM6glGB9Pu8YIRoc...

I know that I am an old fogey, but that's how I see pretty women with tattoos. To each their own. Beautiful Beretta! It's funny, I like a full sleeve on a woman, but don't like leg tattoos. They should stay blank. I'm weird. How about a gun with no writing on it at all? Just the Beretta logo-...

As if we all don't have enough things to spend money on, I started a watch forum for other Watch Idiot Savants to get together and talk watches.
