Re: Is Buds starting to backoff VIP?
I'm wondering if more than that is changing. I don't think they've added many 'new' used guns, and the list is short when it's normally pages long.

Re: G19 Holster IWB
LOVE my CompTac CTAC. I use it for both 1911s and Glocks. It's easy to put on, easy to conceal, doesn't rock/shift, retains well, and is comfortable when driving. Definitely the thinnest profile you can get from IWB. I own probably 3-4 of that model.

NEGATIVE 1911 experiences?
I thought it would be nice to start a thread for people to document first-hand problems with their 1911, listing relevant associated factors (ammo, service life, conditions, etc.). Was your Kimber a jam-o-matic? Was your Colt choking on brass? Let's hear it. (This isn't a 'bash' thread, just to see ...

Re: S&W M&P9c
I love my M&P but after cleaning it tonight I have to make a negative comment. This gun gets more powder in and around magazine and inside the frame than any other handgun I have owned thus far. I took the mags apart because the followers were covered. Mags very dirty all over. The ammo I shot was ...

You'd improve the odds of being problem free with a gen3.

I loooove mine. I have put >10k rounds through mine and it runs great. Probably one of the best guns I've ever purchased.
How do you like the 3x multiplier setup? Thought about getting one for my ar.

Here's a plausible bargain route though if you can wait till things are in stock. I'm sure you can find something similar that's used though if you troll the forums. http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/BCM-Standard-16-LIGHT-WEIGHT-Upper-Receiver-p/bcm-urg-car-16lw.htm http://www.gandrtactical.com/cgi-bin...

Re: First AR: build or buy?
Sounds like a proper plan for success, though it could be modified a little a bit.... Unless you can get the Colt for super cheap, or you just want a Colt, I think you pay an unnecessary premium to have a pony on your rifle. I don't have a brand attachment, but these days I don't think you can get ...

Re: First AR: build or buy?
I would say build insofar as building your lower and slapping on a complete upper half. If you're going to 'build' on your first, then this is the only way to go. There's more to screw up than you'd imagine. I would implore you to just save the little more and pick up a Colt 6920. The magpul versio...

Important update! I didn't add something for our female members, who may be less than enthralled with a machete. If any ladies want to chime in, my wife has been generous enough to donate some candle tarts!

Haha, and I only post to mention that I've got a box of factory 45-70 if you want to barter.
I owned a handi rifle just like yours but didn't even get a chance to shoot it before it left my hands!

Re: XDm 9mm
Yeah, mine didn't reset so well either. I loved how it shot though, good grip angle, accurate. Unfortunately mine would go tits up whenever I shot a high volume in a short period. Sold it for a M&P, which was one of those not-so-rare ones that left the factory without the ability to group better tha...

My goat to the KAC gods: a'chete giveaway
In honour of the recent douchery that ruined a perfectly good joke , I'd like to place a proverbial goat (llama?) on the altar, in the form of a giveaway. Its been a long time since I've done one and they used to be frequent on the bushcraft forum I was a part of , and they're always fun. The booty ...

Re: AR vs AK...civil discussion?
I like both, no matter what theater of war I am tactically inserted into via helicopter/submarine/luge. I like the AK for certain reasons, and I like the AR for certain reasons. It's just that there are a few more reasons to like the AR for me. I think the reliability of the AK is almost as overblow...

I'm sorry for the assholery. Llamas all around.

If he was, then I'm an asshole and llamas all around. Its a sore spot for me since I've had the same situation on another forum, without the joke.
